Unless your condition is life threatening please do not attend the Emergency Department. There are lots of other ways to access help and you will be seen much quicker by using NHS 111. If you arrive with a minor problem there will be a long wait and we may still direct you elsewhere for treatment

If you’re feeling under the weather with cold or flu like symptoms, please consider postponing your visit to the hospital. Protect our vulnerable patients and staff by staying home until you’re feeling better.

Do not be violent or aggressive towards our staff. Physical, verbal and racial abuse is not acceptable and will not be tolerated.
